5. Who is a person/expert on your field that you admire?

 Fernando Paulsen.  This man is one of the best journalists in Chile. Fernando Paulsen has stood out for his work in political journalism in Chile. He began his career in the 1980s, working in various radio and television media. He has been part of renowned television programs and channels in the country. He was born on December 27, 1953 in Santiago and he studied journalism at the Universidad de Chile. Fernando Paulsen joined the staff of the magazine "Análisis", a magazine known for being against the dictatorship of Pinochet. During his participation in the magazine, he collaborated in the research and writing of reports on political and social issues. Fernando Paulsen worked in "Estado Nacional" and "El Informante", both of TVN. He also worked in "Tolerancia Cero" of Chilevision and was part of "Mentiras Verdaderas" of La Red. 4. A meal or food i really like

 My favorite food In this blog I'm going to talk about my favorite food. Noodles with sauce. noodles with sauce is a very simple food, but very delicious and tasty. And that's why I love this food. As a fact, this food is a great source of carbohydrates. As I said before, this meal is very simple, this dish is made of noodles, meat and tomato sauce, so cooking this meal is very quick and easy, so everyone can make it. To cook noodles with sauce, first in a pot you have to boil water and let the noodles cook. In another pot you have to put some oil and put the ground meat, then you can add salt, oregano, garlic, pepper, onion or whatever you want. When the meat is cooked put the amount of tomato sauce you want and wait a few more minutes for it to be ready. I love this food so much, if I had the chance to eat noodles with sauce every day of my life I would definitely do it.

My Favorite Piece of Technology I'm going to talk to you about headphones, my favorite technological device. Headphones are very important in my daily life. I love headphones because they are useful for so many things. I can be surrounded by people, put on headphones and feel like I'm in a totally different place. I use them mainly to listen to music. with headphones i can listen to music at home while i am studying, and I use my headphones to listen to music while I go to university. I also love that there are many types of headphones, big ones, small ones, wireless and wired.  it is very useful to use headphones in the subway, because of the noise generated in these places, due to the many people there. I also use them to talk on the phone in the street so as not to risk being robbed.  I recommend you to use them because they are very comfortable and you can use them in many places and moments.

2. Why did I choose my major?

 Why did I choose my major? I am studying journalism and this is my first year. Until last year I didn't know what I wanted to study, but I knew I wanted to study something fun and with variety, and I like writing, so I chose journalism. To be honest I never had any other option, when they told me about journalism I knew right then and there that's what I was going to study. I also always knew that I wanted to study at this university, because of its social prestige and also because I knew some people who study at U de Chile. So far I've really enjoyed the university, I've met a lot of new people, I've made a lot of cool friends, I have a lot of fun in classes and I keep meeting more people.

Who Am I? This is my presentation. My name is Mateo Saavedra Villalba. I was born on March 29, 2005 and i am 18 years old. I've lived in Santiago all my life, in Maipú. I have 3 siblings, 2 of my age and an older brother.I went to a school called Colegio del Valle and that's where I met my best friends.  My hobbies are watching movies, series and playing video games. My favorite movie is "The Dead Poets Society". and my favorite TV show is "Game of Thrones". Ever since I was a child I have played "Call of Duty" and that is why it is my favorite game. I also like music, my favorite artists are Taylor Swift and Lana del Rey, i hope Taylor Swift comes to Chile.
